Nw Persia Polychrome Pitcher 2500 BC.


A polychrome pitcher, a pottery "oinoche" from Northwestern Persia with intact handle and spout, unusual in retaining original painted design. Small area of unrepaired loss on rim of spout, but overall excellent condition. No overpainting. Circa 2500 BC.
