Prehistoric throwing stick, Arizona. Extremely weathered piece, now very light and dessicated from long, dry exposure. Similar examples in Heard Museum Phoenix and Northern Arizona Museum, Flagstaff. Used for hunting rabbits. The stick has been broken, and glued back together at the base of the handle by an early collector. Very rare piece. Very old.
